Seattle Children's HospitalGENE EDITING VIDEO One of the hardest, most fascinating projects of my career. Seattle Children’s invented gene editing for children (yes, really)—where they alter a patient's DNA to eliminate genetic diseases. I was asked to help explain this in a simple way to donors and the public. I interviewed the hospital's scientists multiple times and due to the complexity, always left with a literal headache. I also left with profound respect for this hospital’s life-saving work. |
