Stuff about me
I’m a seasoned wordsmith and idea thinker upper. I’ve helped over 100 brands of all sizes use their voices to move people. To name a few—Starbucks, Amazon, Microsoft, McDonald’s and Holland America Cruise Line in a list that includes nearly every industry imaginable.
My jam is finding that hidden nugget of truth that sparks a conversation. I’m fluid in expressing those juicy insights all the ways, across major channels and platforms, with the nimbleness to shift the creative at a rapid pace. I’ve worked with global ad agencies, small firms, internal creative departments and lots of outstanding humans. Sometimes on the same day. But always flexing as a collaborative leader and champion of smart strategic thinking. I am endlessly curious. I’m an expert listener. I nerd out on the intricacies of a great headline with an unreasonable amount of passion. I can also type with an accent. But enough talk about me, let’s talk about you. That’s my best idea yet. |
LISA WHO? Let’s get to know each other and chat sometime about the rest of the story. My first novel When I was seven my teacher took me to an author’s conference (in her car, OMG!). It inspired me to write a 30-page book, available for check-out in my school library. Devoted meeting attender I almost gave birth in a Starbucks headquarters conference room. World travels I rode a camel in Egypt and a gondola in Venice. But most of my trips are to the mall. Crazy ice cream lady I once won ice cream for a year which is perfect because that’s my main food group and favorite thing to make. Running through decades There’s me, going around in circles again. I’ve ran marathons on purpose and been chased by many a canine. Volunteer hat, on I do regular community outreach, including teaching and refugee housing relief. Chocolate facials Fact: I’ve never eaten chocolate without getting it all over my face like a toddler. Happiest sound I’ve ever heard 400 kindergartners belly laughing at the same time. Working on it I can’t do a cartwheel and I’ve never seen Star Wars. Please forgive me. |
